Sedge warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus)
Hand held, boy this was a tricky one, I took a good number of images but the reeds keep obscuring various part of the bird, despite this the camera managed to keep focus on the bird's eye. This wasn't the best pose but it was the clearest shot I could get, there is still a slight ghost over the tail.

Hi Jon, I like the comp and well timed on getting the beak open... The light reed top RHC needs addressing, but it's the overall colour and cast that is again hurting the image. Also I think you went over part of the tail feathers with your beige brush, its not reeds.
It's not definitive, but you get the idea.
Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.

Lovely fine details captured and the details and sharpness looking very good .
Would agree with Steve about brightness and color , his RP is somewhat on the better track ... IMHO .

The tweak is an improvement indeed. I would also have liked a better head angle. These reed-loving species are most often quite secretive, so congrats on such a clear look at it!

Very nice Jon. What a great looking bird and you captured it well. Nice detail, I don't mind the HA. The BG shows the bird real well. Lovely detail on the subject. I agree that Steve's repost does enhance the image.
