I captured this image of a Limpkin at Circle B Bar Reserve about a week ago. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Joe, So much to like about this image.....nice, sharp flight pose, open beak, just a bit of blur in the wings to imply motion and a beautiful pastel sky. It would have been nice if he would have put his feathers in better order, but nothing you could do about that. Bird is fairly centered from top to bottom in your frame, maybe try some alternate crops to move him off horizontal center, and a tiny head turn toward us would have been nice, but not fatal to the image, in my opinion.

Well captured indeed. I would also play with the composition a bit. Wish for a little head turn as well. Nice work, Joe.

I like it as is comp-wise. Nice details, good wings-down flight pose, and the open bill adds an element of interest. I'm wondering if the overall colour balance could use a couple of points of reds added.

I like the open beak, trailing feet, sharpness and composition. Well done Joe.
