I've done it before, and will probably do it again: I tell myself not to post images that aren't tack sharp, and then I come across a file of this beautiful miniature goose that's too lovely not to share.

Yes, so much was "all set" on this frame. When I see images like this that have everything but one essential thing it just makes me groan (I'm taking about my shots when at home working through a card)! But, a lovely bird with a nice wide open dorsal view (and nice showing of that head -- what big eyes)... hope you get one that checks all the boxes. Thanks for sharing.

at this size it looks plenty sharp enough too me. The bird looks great but there's too much canvas for my eye

I think it looks pretty good Bill. Nice soft feather details and I like the small in the frame look. A little bit more of a head turn would have helped but its still nice as is.
