I like the fluffed up feathers and your choice of crop.
Light was getting pretty harsh here- I prefer your other images in the softer light.
If mine, I would warm the image up a bit to fool the eye into thinking the light was not as harsh and I would use detail extractor on the bill to show more detail in the blacks at the tip of the beak.
