One of many that roost on the rocks when the tide is high and covers the mud flats at Grand Pre, Nova Scotia, in Fall.

A better head turn to achieve some eye contact would've made of this shot a preety great image, I would've also tried to lighten a bit the dark area in the BG, but light, details and composition are very good! Congratulations!

Very nice composition but as already mentioned a little more head turn would be nice and on my monitor I find the head slightly soft. Very lovely BG in this capture. Thanks for sharing Richard .

I like the composition but I would try and lighten the dark spot and tone down the rocks a little bit.

Nicely composed, we need, as mentioned, a little head turn your way. Burning the rocks a bit would also help.
