I like the eye contact and pose but the bird looks very soft on my monitor. The BG is a bit busy and I would apply NR on it.

Nice bird, nice head angle, nicely designed image. Yes to more sharpening on the bird. Did you do anything to the BKGR? (If not, that is some strange BOKEH.)

Bird does look soft. Perhaps due to a very slow SS(1/160th) for a 600mm lens.

Looks like the image is suffering from heavy-ish cropping? I wouldn't mind more room below as the foot is rather closer to the edge. I find it odd how the yellow on the bird bleeds outside the body limits at right...

Hey Rick,
Sharpness issue covered.......if it isn't a big crop already.......can go to a vert and eliminate most of the BG distractions.
