I took this earlier today at Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge... finally managed to get a Shoveler with its clean reflection in the water.

Great capture of this beautiful bird. I like the details, light, exposure control but the excellent reflection puts it over the top for me. I might increase the saturation a tad and crop a bit off the right.

Lovely, Indranil. Agree with cropping a little from the right. Beautiful colours, reflection and eye.

I like how we can see under the bill-tip in the reflection. Many times a lower angle is advisable, but in this case it is just right for the reflection. But I'm still wondering if you took some at lower angles if it was possible? Well done :-)

Axel, Sid, Tony, Daniel, thanks for the feedback.

Daniel, from the dock where I took this shot, I could not get any lower. Here is a cropped version...

Wonderful image Indranil! :) Repost or original both work great in my book! Love that green sheen on his head. Cool!
