After a strong rain, where all the puffins were hiding in their nests, they came out into the sun, shaking and preening, and then they ran to the cliffs and started fishing in the sea again.

This puffin is one of them...

Great control of the whites and blacks, great action, and I love the rocks and water bg.

You might consider lightening the face and beak, and the back foot if possible.

I wish these birds visited Florida. What a face!

Good job of capturing the peak of action. The head is turned away from you and the rock/horizon line is in the center of the image dissecting the subject... Low is good but lower is often better.

Love the height of action in mid run!!! The exposure looks spot on as well. I agree with Lance; wish we had these beauties in Florida! Thanks for sharing yours!

This image really makes me smile. :) I like the angle since you would have lost the puddle otherwise. The running pose is unique, I only wish for more head turn toward you, but then the puffin had better watch where he is going.

Really cute and unique pose. The head turn has been mentioned. I might also clone out the bit of whitewash on the rock in the foreground. Well done.
