This image was captured today at Corkscrew. Shutterbug Magazine purchased my article about the capture of the Ghost Orchid at Corkscrew in 97. If you'd like to read it, its in the April issue starting on page 84. They did a nice job reproducing my prints for the magazine which is always a concern. Rod

Very cute scene, and the setting is very nice. I would explore the option of "fixing" the bright area in the BG just above the owls heads. From the facial expression it looks like one of them is having it's back scratched by the other!!

I love the expressions here, Rod. You did a good job on including the environment in a way that actually enhances the composition instead of distracting from your subject. Your colors, exposure, sharpness and feather details are all good. I would suggest cropping a little from the top.

Really cute. I agree about the bright spot. Overall detail and exposure are great!

Lovely, great mood and cute scene, agree about the bright area that could use some work, but thatīs preety much it, I have loved the rest! Congratulaitons!

Once the white BKGR deal is gone I would think that any crop from the top would detract from the pleasing COMP. Cute yes, but I would rather see the eyes of both owls open.
