Nice light, exposure and HA. Tack sharp. I don't mind the graduated BG, though I wish the head didn't intersect with it. You might try toning down the perch a bit.

I was thinking the same thing about the BG as Aidan. Nice detail and the bonus is the bug. Well done.

Although I really like it as presented I have to agree with Aidan suggestion and comment.
Nice pose, nice exposure, colors and detail, prey in the bill is great plus and comp is very nice.
Congratulations!

I like the prey and the calm BG although I agree with Aidan and the intersection of the BG color line with the bird.
But this is great as it is.

I like the pose, light, sharpness and the food item adds to it. I might lighten the eye a bit and the split BG makes it look as if it needs a bit CW rotation but that might be due to the angle.

Very nice Gal, Agree with everything that has been said. I might even lighten the bird just a tad overall. Congrats.

Aidan covered my thoughts on the BG. Otherwise I love the pose and the BG too. I would probably tone down the upright on the perch, though I am at work and things usually appear brighter than normal.

Super pose, in stunning light. This is sharp showing good detail, and his food a bonus. The two tone BG doesnt bother me, but I agree to tone down the perch.
