Taken on a trip to the Kimberley in north-west Western Australia in late 2006.

Canon 20D handheld, 100-400L IS @400, f/5.6, 1/1000, ISO 200, AV +/- 0.
PS CS - Crop, clone out part of branch, quick mask in one tail streamer, sh-h, levels, curves, usm.

Thanks for looking.
And thanks to all for help in another forum on watermarks...this is what I've come up with (bottom right of image).

Beautiful bird, great light and BG. I lalso like the slightly lifted wings, must have been warm there. :) I might clone out the dark spot at the top.

You are welcome Dean. :) This is an outstanding image! Love the pose, composition is excellent. The BG compliments your subject very well. I would selectively lighten the bird a tad if it were mine....

It truly is a fantastic image. Excellent detail of a gorgeous bird. Nice composition and BG.

A beautiful bird, nicely captured! Great light, BKGR, posture and diagonal perch! Well done!

A very difficult bird to expose correctly but you did very well here. I really like the details and compositin here.
