Nice. I like the diagonal line created by his posture. Did this image place?

Beautiful colors, BG and great job on the contrasts between the dark tail and the white head. I like the warm light on it. I would have left a little more room on the left and cropped a tiny bit on top (for my taste)

Great job overall

I really like this shot, especially the BG colors, head and tail angle. Nice work.

Hi Robert

Excellent shot. You have left a lot of dead space at the top and it takes the attention away from the bird. Crop the top more and see the difference it makes. Nice details in the bird.

Wonderful shot. Great light and colors. I like the head angle. Killer background.
I like the bird looking down the diagonal line of it's back.

Lovely image, Robert. Great light, diagonal and pose, BG colour complements the perch perfectly. I would probably crop about 25-30% of the negative space above the bird - to my eye if balances better with a little less above.

Applying the suggested crop above will improve this image for web presentation (but leaving it as is makes it ideal for a magazine cover and its title:cool:). Awesome BG and pose. Good perch too.

Robert, I love these birds and am lucky enough to have them in our neck of the woods in the summer. Its much easier to compose when they look back. I really like this shot. Excellent sharpness, pose, exposure and BG.
