EOS-1D Mk IV, 500mm f/4 + 1.4xII, 1/2000, f/8, ISO 400
Cropped from horizontal.

Here's another one from my time with the Reddish Egrets last April near Port Aransas, TX.

Looking forward to your comments and critiques!

Mike you captured a superb pose from a nice low angle...I might crop slight OOF FG from bottom.

Having the angle of the bill, spread wings and the long tail feather creating similiar diagonal lines makes this a super dynamic image! I would also suggest a small crop from the bottom.

Hi Mike,
I like the pose and the windswept feel. Good exposure on the whites and I like the lone little droplet. Another vote for cropping a bit off the bottom,
Gail

Very nice angle (looking up?), and DOF.
Perfect exposure and a very attractive BG color for this bird.
