    Default Sunrise on Cayman Brac

I played around with the in-camera HDR feature on my D800 for this sunrise scene on Cayman Brac.

    Nikon D800
    Nikon 18-35mm lens @ 18mm
    ISO 50
    f16 @ 1/5 second
Singh Ray 3-stop reverse grad filter

    Look forward to comments.

Really nice, and I like the scene quite a bit. Maybe the ocean has a slightly surreal feel, maybe a bit more contrast.

Looks really good for an in-camera HDR, Andrew!
I haven't had the guts to try mine, perhaps I should dabble a bit.
I think the midtones in midground could go darker?

Much thanks...I will tweak the mid-ground as suggested.

Morkel - I don't use the HDR feature too often, but occasionally it does come in quite handy.

Really strong comp here Andrew and I think the camera did a good job on the HDR except for the highlighted area in the RHC I would look into that area a little.
