Hi everyone!
We are pleased to announce the winners of October's "Detail/Patterns" theme. It was another month with lots of participation and excellent images, plus we all learned a little about the conservation status of our favorite animals. I was the judge and jury! And the winners are:
1st Place: Sanjeev Aurangabadkar, "The South-Paw"

2nd Place: Andreas Liedmann, "Elephant in Detail"

3rd Place: Mike Poole, "Antlers for Rachel"

Congrats, gentlemen! :5
We're also happy to announce that the December Theme will be "Key Lighting". The Key Lighting can be captured in-camera (ie the scene as it was) or induced via post-processing (any heavy processing will have to still be declared, of course). Forum rules still apply. As always, please use the "Theme" prefix from the dropdown menu. Theme images will be critiqued just like other images and are eligible for IOTW honors.
In the meantime, let's start posting images for November's Theme "MOMENTS"...
Morkel , Rachel & Steve.
