    Very cool image Judy!! This beautifull butterfly has been frozen in space - almost appears to be floating!!
    The inclusion of the complimentry coloured perch completes the composition nicely.
    A great bonus capture while waiting for kites to return!!!

    Absolutely beautiful. I agree with John's comments and also note the lovely background. Would love to see this with the image, excluding the butterfly, a bit lighter though.

    I LOVE that you can see the faint outline of one of the curled antenna! Perfect!

    Hi Judy,
    Agree with others above about great capture........but reading some of the above comment i don't feel people appreciate the degrre of difficulty on this.........well I certainly do! If the flower was removed as suggested...........it tends to give the butterfly/moth a look as if it is floating specimen.........the legs extending because it is landing gives it the sense of flight and coming in to feed. I have done these with pretty good success............and this is still one of the best I've seen!

    Great capture! I like the flower in there. It looks like the sulfur is saluting it.

    How beautiful Judy, Love the curly probocis!

    Great job and i love it as is just a trim off the top and bottom would make it perfect.
