Thank you for asking about this photo.
The sky was a stitched pan, but pretty much as it looks (We get some pretty good Winter sunrises around here)
I didn't keep the original water foreground. It was too choppy and dark. For the water I used a clever plugin called Flood.
There are many settings to fool with here, and it was trial and delete until I thought it fit.
The photo of the boat was taken last Summer and I cut it out using Topaz remask. This was
not clean enough, so a lot of manual cleanup was needed.
After placement, I ran Flood again on a new layer of the boat and faded it out to give a bit of reflection.
I pasted a bit of white along the waterline, and that was about it.
