    Hi folks ...
    Fresh stuff from the Kingfisher
Been to a new location with quite "easy " access to some individuals , only possible in the wintertime .
All images from there are made with no influence from any human activity , not baited or something else .... luckily it is just a 100 km drive .
This one was shot very early morning on a dull day ... so I kept the edited version quite dark . Some might wish to get more color into the foliage ....

    Canon EOS R3
    RF 400 2,8 + 2x TC
    HH

    F 5,6 ; Iso 25.600 ; 1/1600 sec

Almost full frame , slight crop from RHS and top

Processed with ACR and PSCC 2024

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

Processed with ACR & PSCC eh? looks spot on to me, colours are ideal, I like the background, the natural perch - (not the archetypal mossy twig) looks refreshing, the prey - well always adds interest. The DOF is slightly limited but the overall presentation is super.

Very nice Andreas. All looks good here. The snow on the perch adds. Good detail on the bird, nice colours and HA. Great capture of a KF that is not baited. Well done.
