I keep going with the bears , this image was captured during my great trip to the far east at Kambalnaya River on Kamtchatka

Super love the colours, I did wonder about 3 points of Dehaze just to give a tiny bit more punch but I like it as is. The blood stained water droplets bring the harsh reality of life and death to the image. I wonder if it would have the same impact if the bear's ears wee included?

You have mentioned Darktable a couple of times, I don't see any changes to your overall image processing, I guess you use it for a little stimulation or purely for a change??

Works for me, Andreas. Great techs, IQ looks good and composition as well. Nicely exposed, I too like the blood stained water droplets and colours, perfect HA from the bear. He's got a nice grip on that fish, no way he'll drop it back into the water... Love to see some teeth :w3

© Jon ... with hindsight a bit more local punch would be good , thanks for the pointer . There was no ear present in the original capture :bg3:
