I was photographing Fieldfare and Bullfinch using my vehicle as a hide. Some of the birds came quite close as they were eating berries from a few bushes nearby. I then spotted this Mistle Thrush coming in and perching. It flew off after a couple of seconds. I managed a few shots, and came away happy as this bird is a first for me. you can't get near them in my area. HH. ACR and PS.

Striking plumage, excellent detail, well exposed overall. Like the angled perch, delicate and angled. Interesting without being overpowering to the bird. I might however tone down the brightest berries a bit. They are in the 253 range and do draw the eye. The background is somewhat busy, but OOF enough to work for me.

Cheers
