For some reason this frame was sent before I was ready at the end of the process.

HOWEVER It was taken as the sun was disappearing on a beautiful evening and the bird was sitting in light shadow so the b/g was very bright on the shining gum tree trunks over the river a hundred and fifty meters away. The b/g has been dampened down but the bird in that light is not far off. It was sharp and I wondered if I would

ever get that position again. So here it is.

A1,200/600mm at 470mm ,1/4000 th f6.3 iso3200 [should have been higher ] hh. all a bit under exposed as the bird suddenly left the perch but as Artie says in those situations just pull the trigger.

Hi Ian ... killer take off shot !!!
Well timed !!
I do like it as presented for the very most part ... slight disadvantage are the very bright patches in the plumage , but that is complaining on a very high level .

Would like to have this in my collection :bg3:
Stunning !!!
TFS Andreas
