Enjoyed seeing this little guy as they don't make it this far north to Minnesota where I live.

Z9, 600mm f/4 TC VR S, 1/800, 840mm, ISO 5600.
 
Hi Paul ... thes object is nicely presented on the log and in the open , well done in achieving this .
Personally I think there is too much of processing going on in the image as presented . Not sure sure what you have done .... at least the contrast is too strong for my taste !
The area under the bird does look strange in parts ...

I would try to go less with overall processing , just my take

Paul, the textures in the bird appear a little odd, maybe a little too much denoise or "Effects", some of the wing coverts and parts of the tail look smoothed out??
 
Great view of a sweet little warbler that I don't expect I will ever see unless travelling especially to see it. The shadow on the chest is unfortunate, but hard to avoid here. Neat black perch! I'd crop in a little from below to hide the gap underneath it - that would make a more solid and anchored bottom frame. Maybe a bit more saturation would work too?
