Red Shank and Godwit

Hi folks ... went for a shorter visit to the same location , where I captured the Godwits .
Early morning was not as good as previous time , sun came late due to a cloud cover on the horizon .
But I got lucky to have two species on one piece of old fence
I kept the image kinda dull and cool , just the lighter tones warmed up a touch ... as the sun was peaking through the clouds with a slight orange touch .

Not too crazy on the colour sheme here Andreas, I appreciate you showing the cold looking colours bu the greens seem a little overpowering for me. I quite like the Redshank and the posiioning of the Godwit is rather good with the feet just clear of the Redshank tail.

I would try to make them more "grass" green - modify blue content something like that

THX Jon ... for your thoughts , but then I would loose the " original " feeling of the scene of mine . And I do not want to do that .... so you have to live with the coolness :w3:t3. Bet you can ....

Love the concept and the juxtapositions. The colors look fine. The only things that bug me are the three dark blobs in the BKGR.
