Hi folks ... back to recent work
Image captured at the same location as the Godwit images , the birds over there preferring the fence posts to sit on .... and are easier to capture than far out on the grass plains . Albeit one does end up with birds on big stick ... LOL .
Hope you still like it somehow
This time a bit more color thrown into it

Looking good here. Lovely pose and HA. Good feather detail. BG colours look nice. And, a great looking perch, well aged, probably over 50 years old Sounds like a great place to photograph birds Andreas.

On another subject, do you think Germany will beat Scotland in the opening game of the Euros, or is that a silly question

Hi Andreas....bet you know what I'm going to say!

I think the perch is just fine it is almost what I would hope for if I wncountered a wader/shorebird in the fields.
Colour - sorry a bit too heavy for me and the darks are also a bit dark, the file is clean as a whistle and composition just fine.

Thanks Will and Jon for your comments , much appreciated .

@ Will ... under normal circumstances I think we would or should win the game against the Braveheart`s , but no silly question from your side ... as everything is possible . But no question ... I hope it will be normal , we will win the game

@ Jon ... at least you like the perch ... no problem with your color / tone issues , is just your taste ! Could have gone lighter or darker , more color or less color .... all up to me

    Cheers Andreas

Wowzer Andreas... "She's got leeeeegggs" (ZZ Top song)

You really fired this one up. Very rich in tones and the orange... pow!

That old stump has just about enough character to work here. Everything seen nicely.

ZZ Top is timeless man. At least Brian did not bring up "Tush" ha ha. I love the red legs next to the green perch, very nice. Nice light and background too.
