    Default Hawfinch ( M ) IV

Hi folks .. one image from last year , taken at a setup for normally Buzzard .... but no Buzzard at the show . So I took the chance to photograph the Hawfinch while waiting ....
The set up was farther away for the Buzzard and for the small birds there was one right in front of the hide .... everything was very rudimental . But at least I got some images of the Finches
The green tint in parts of the perch is coming from surrounding grass

    Canon EOS R 3
    RF 400 2,8 + 2x TC
    Tripod

    F 8 ; Iso 32.000 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DT 4.6.1 and PSCC 2024 ; cropped and added canvas to LHS ; some gardening in there BG on RHS ...... left the the grass on left side for " whatever " reason .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

It's not very often we get to see Hawfinch, a fine shot and a pleasing setting. Colours and details are very good indeed - a fine shot.

    Thanks Jon and Kevin ...

@ Jon ... so far I had only two fleeting sightings at my own " rudimental " setups , so this was way better at that setup . Still very skittish ... they have been
