Hi all ... and specially Gabriela , as she loves the place .
Image captured back in 2005 in the Kalahari Gemsbok Park ( name at that time ) ....
Good exciting memories with this big boy ....
Looking at the techs I should start to cry .... LOL ... but it was at that time what I was able to do , fully forgotten the settings for the scenario . Well well ... but this is just about the memory .

Had you known then the things you know today... Certainly framing one can fix today to some extent, I think our main issue was the lack of shutter speed in those days and consequently sharpness.

THX Gabriela .... yes the rather slow shutter is not ideal , things we can´t change afterwards . But it is part of my photographic history ... also a warning LOL to keep an eye on the techs , which is not always working

Nice shot, i am not sure I get the constant references to slow shutter speed and ISO, surely with 1D Mk II you could have gone to ISO 400 - 800, I think originally I had a 20D and then 7D then 1DX and 5D etc I don't recall being fixated on ISO 100?????

No question that i could have done better for the most part during capture
