    Well captured Jon. Not an easy task as the bird is so fast. It's a pity that the HA is slightly away from the viewer, as it would have made a big difference if the head was slightly turned towards us. I also think you can brighten up the bird a wee bit. Very nice BG colours. Not sure about the perch, it kind off takes away the visual from the bird, but that's a personal opinion. Just wondering if it would look better without the perch being there. On take off shots I also like to show the perch as it tells the story, not sure if it works here. A matter of opinion I suppose. If the IQ holds I would look at cropping from the top removing part of the perch.
