When the soring flowers are gone, it's time to find nice leafy perches for the songbirds. This branch had a perfect gap between the leaves for a bird to land on, and this Red-eyed Vireo came right in to inspect the audio that was being played to encourage it closer. This is one of the most common forest birds during breeding season here, singing non-stop during daylight hours.
Canon R6 + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, 1/250s., f/8, ISO 3200 (I could have pushed it a stop more for better SS, but it worked out), FF, a few imperfections removed form the leaves via remove tool, some eye work to rid of extra reflections (there were lots!). A bluish cast removed by lowering the blue channel in Hue/saturation.
