Tribute to a friend....

This is a tribite to my (and many others') friend Dave Phillips. An all around great guy, excellent photographer and an insane whiz with Photoshop. His work has been exceptional and I will terribly miss him. So this is my way of saying a few words to Dave. I know you can read this my friend. I'll see you later on.

The image is one of my all-time favorites of a Barn Owl in flight. I added the moon and ran topaz clean over the lot. A little effect to stay true to what will always remind me of that great man, Dave Phillips.




Your eye for detail, for the quirky
For the amazing, for the pretty
Gave us insight into the mind
Of your genius; you really were so kind

Akos, It is beautiful. Dave would love it. He was such a great presence on this site and he touched so many people. He will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in all of us that knew him.
