Taken at the Jamestown ferry Dock in Jamestown, VA.
    SonyA700, 70-400G @300mm, f11, 1/2500, iso 400 (manual)
PP in PSE8, levels, curves and slight sharpening of bird, selective lighten of back feathers, cloned out portion of perch on left side, evened out BG sky with soft brush.
I wish for a better perch, but I liked the pose and the sheen from the wet feathers.

Hi Peter - like the look back pose which gives a good HA - Nice details in the blacks. A little more sharpening to the eye perhaps.
Like the use of the Aperture - nothing in the BG to be concerned about and ISO and SS to support it.
Agree about the perch, but you take what you are given - feels a little tight at the bottom - IMHO.
    Good show :)

Agree Peter, really nice pose and head angle. Image looks pretty sharp to me but as Lance said, a little more around the eye might be good. and the blue BG is very appealing.
