Balakumar Kaushik is a passionate photographer who started on the journey to make images in 2003. His areas of interest have grown from landscape and macros to wildlife, portraits and underwater. He finds the entire process from composing a scene to making an image thrilling. He can talk for hours about photography if he can find a listener. His enthusiasm rubs off on friends and he has left a group of photography enthusiasts in his wake. He is currently a hobbyist and finds pleasure in other activities including hiking, scuba diving and electronics. He currently lives in Switzerland.
