Thanks Bob, I can always use new ideas to try out!

    Willet flight

Great catch Richard! I agree with Adhika about the Magenta cast but I see most of it in the BG, great wing position and the DOF is great!

    Female Rufous Hummingbird

Great shot! Lighting is good, great job of freezing the action, and I like Tim's removal of the feeder.

    Nelson's sparrow

I agree with Glennie, posting this as a scene rather than on the bird could work nicely, the bird looks fine here and gives one a great perspective as to where it normally would be found.

Female Sharptail on the Lek. Looking back at the Boys

Love the colors and agree that somewhere between yours and David's RP would be perfect!

    Nelson's sparrow

I'm with Tim on this one, hard to figure out why the grasses are so sharp and the bird almost looks posterized, but the legs look fine. Maybe trying to bring out some shadowed areas on the bird too aggressively?

    Adult perched Bald eagle

Very nice, love the texture on the Sycamore branch, I'm OK with the leaves and great details in the feathers.

I like the changes, that is one evil looking dude!

That is a tool I use quite frequently due to its effectiveness in removing Magenta tints in Astrophotography. I tried that in this image and it didn't work as I had hoped. I did go back to the raw image and looked at a number of shots in this series and it is an OOF branch/leaf that is in...

Thanks Glennie! I wondered when someone was going to note that pinkish cast. The part in the sky is from an OOF branch that I thought was behind the bird and now I think it was actually in front and has made that one foot look funky too! I swear I had a clear line of site but this would...

Thanks for the comments! I'll look at some adjustments and do an RP. The sky was brilliant that day, we always refer to that as a Michigan Blue sky!

Another one from my time in MI. Not the most exciting bird in the world but a beautiful singer and they tend to be curious of people and like to sing from exposed perches! I wish more birds were like this! Canon 7D Mark II, Tamron 150-600mm, 600mm, ISO 800, 1/800, f/10, HH, early morning...

Female Lesser Goldfinch - Sunflower Plants

Nice, I like Tim's crop. Nice details on the bird.

Thanks for the comments Tim. Glennie I see where you are talking about on some of those blacker areas, particularly on the breast. I'll have a go at those areas as well as look at some selective sharpening as suggested to see what I can come up with. Thanks for all the input! More birds from...

Thanks Adhika and Glennie! Adhika, yes it was HH, I found since these little guys move so much I need more maneuverability to hope for a shot and I don't get that with a tripod. I'm not at my computer Glennie so I'll need to look at why I cropped it on the left hand side where I did, I'll also...
