    Red Squirrel

Great detail. I prefer the second image with the cleaner foreground. What shooting mode did you use? Fv, P Tv?

    Had Enough!

This is a very humorous & entertaining image. The jackal on the left looks like it is being held up for his money. I throughly enjoyed your story about the water hole. TFS.

    Polentswa War Lord

A great frame with wonderful light, a neat pose that shows the majesty of these wonderful predators. TFS.

    Up Close and...Near my Window

Wow! This is special. Excellent detail, beautiful light, perfect BG & a wonderful 3D effect. I feel that I could reach out the window & touch this magnificent specimen. I only notice the bottom of the mane because of Rachel's comment. This is a riveting image. TFS. I hope to see more.

    Theme Big Horns

Thanks Gabriela. I agree about the shutter speed. Luckily, the rams were just standing around waiting & hoping. They usually mate in Dec., so I was a little early to see conflicts.

    Theme Big Horns

Canon 1D Mark IV, 100-400 @ 400 1/320, f 5.6, +2/3 EV, FF. This was shot at the end of November. The rams were waiting for the ewes to come into estrus. I was hoping for a fight, but it never happened.

    Mountain Hare in snow

This image makes me shiver just looking at it. Good detail & exposure. I like the point of view also.

Theme Let's Go Get Some Breakfast...

A lovely image Gabriela. I like the visible tongue of the youngster & the open mouth of the mother. Both faces are visible & they are also walking step.

    Theme Cook Inlet Bearscape

I like this one Rachel. It has a sense of place & shows the environment that these behemoths inhabit. I don't see a cyan cast. I like the composition.

    Bue spot stingray

Its good to see something different. I agree with Rachel on this one. I also like that habitat is included in the image.

    Frosty bison in fog

I like that you got low & shot up a bit as it demonstrates the size of these critters. The frosted fur is a nice touch. I think this would look good with a square crop.

    Theme Sparring

This image is all about the action. It is where my eye is drawn. The detail is excellent & the exposure is right on. The sow in the background does not kill the image IMO. I might consider toning down the HL in the sow's fur to minimize its impact.

    Coyote

The reason for the coyote seeming to need a little ccw is that he/she is stand on the log. Rachel, thanks for the suggestions re. HLs & the red in the BG.

    Coyote

canon mark iv, iso 400, 1/500, f5.6, 100-400@400 Sharpened, minor adjustments with levels, saturation, shadow & highlight I shot this image in YNP in the early fall. The coyote is looking at a group of people that were stopping him/her from crossing the road. Eventually the obstructionist people...

    Winter Yellowstone Coyote

I really like this image. The falling snow & the snow on the fur adds to this image. I like the head turn & the pose. There is also excellent detail in the fur. Great image!

    Theme Lion pride

Good one Steve. The lioness conveys the majesty & power of these predators. Lovely light. I agree with Rachel re. the branch in front of the yawning cub–It just bugs me. It was the second thing that I noticed in this image.

    Theme Joint Family !

Of the 3 versions, I like the third version the best. It is neat that you can see the eyes of all the foxes. As usual, good suggestions from SK & RH.
