    Low Mallard

Low flying mallard at the local pond to me. I would have preffered the bird more directly at me instead of breaking away, such is life. Sigma 500mm F5/6 1/5000 ISO 400 Paul.

Jonathan you have done well to retail detail in this shot with the recent dull weather we have been getting. I see your from the Wirral. On Saturday morning on a bitterly cold Cannock Chase their were 2 male photographers and a 1 female photographer all from the Wirral. They were after the...

    Snowy Owl

Well captured Dave. I like the contrast between perch and owl. Not to detract from a wonderful shot I would peronally take the branch out from beneath the bird.

    Grey Wagtail

Well been working hard on the house of late. Whilst having the carpet fitted in the lounge saw this little bird in the rear garden. Hastily got camera, stopped the carpet fitters and slowly opened the patio door slightly now lying on stomach and got a few shots. The light was poor but you got to...

    Giant Kingfisher ( female )

Top draw Stuart. I think the composition is outstanding on the shot and the perch complements the bird totally. If it was one of mine it would be hanging in the front room by now. To be honest it’s perfect in every way. I wish I had seen these when I was in Durban.
