Perspective is just awesome here Steve, makes the image for me.
Hi Gabriela, ditto, but was somewhat surprise to get this
'perspective' using this particular lens, but hey it worked. A chance you have to take and if the kit gets muddy and grubby, well wash it, but it did survive getting trodden on thank goodness. It's what I was discussing with you before you left, but sadly I don't think the opportunities worked out for you.
Well exposed, great colours and textures, very nice detail on the elephant. Love the sky behind him.
Thank you, but you too are pulling out great colours and textures too, your
'Boys' look awesome, the sky is simple and the filters help.
The little bokkies in the BG emphasise the sheer size of the subject, glad you included them.
Good spot, I feel, like you, you need to have things in frame to help with scale, but we had such a blast and often running out of lens, but to be within feet of these beasts was a humbling experience and so much fun. A lot learnt for next time, just need to process.
Yes an old unit but not too old and in great condition, wondering how he broke the one tusk but surely it doesn't bother him too much
No idea, perhaps ask Carl, but agree it doesn't affect their day to day business, its the ones that loose their trunks that breaks your heart. Did I send you clip of 'Squeaky' the elephant, he's so funny.
All the best
Steve
