Hi folks ... this time an older image from last year .
Image captured in the Swiss Alps , the Choughs are quite used to human presence at that spot.
So I got the chance for a portrait in overcast but bright conditions
Canon EOS R3
RF 100 - 500 IS L + 2x TC
HH
F 14 ; Iso 2500 ; 1/4000 sec ... still setup for flight shots , could have gone lower with the SS
Processed with PR 4 ; DT 4.8.1 and PSC 2025 ; slight crop . The halo on the top of the beak is already there in the raw file .... forgot to keep an eye on it in the process . So it got slightly amplified .
