More from my recent swim at Fort de Soto. I usually like to have the entire subject in focus, but I really like the fall-off effect here as it forces out attention to the face and the fish. I usually avoid
the nictitating membrane, but I don't find it distracting here since we can still see the pupil clearly. I like the bubble, so I won't clone it.

Hey Dorian, that lovely Ft. Desoto light. I like the image, no nits from me. I think the bubble adds interest to the image. Thank you for sharing.

P.S. I saw your two previous posts of a Little Blue Heron, I intended to comment but got sidetracked. I think both were stellar.

Still love the graduated pastels in the BG. To me, the nictitating membrane, the fish, and the bill open indicate that the bird is concentrating on the job to be done-turn and swallow the fish.

Great light and seamless BG again and agree the oof body is not a problem and the bubble is a plus.
No probs either with the membrane. A bigger fish more identifiable as such would have lifted the image.

Hi Dorian .. a super image all around ,just wish the eye was clear !
Everything else is more than fine , not a second i would think to remove that bubble .
Stunning low POV :5

A cracker and TFS Andreas
