I quite liked the pose and I was struck by the rather brighter than usual plumage, perhaps I am not used to the infrequent sunshine we had recently.

Hi Jon,
This little "Bluey" looks very nice. Nice soft light has given a very even distribution of the light and so the colours come out well. Nicely processed.
If it was mine, I think I would place the stick and the bird a little lower in the frame. The background is silky smooth, but there is a little much of it at the bottom.
Very nice image nevertheless.
