It's a quiet day, so I thought I would post another from the series of small birds in Spain earlier this year.

It is the same setup and possibly the same stick/reed as my earlier posting.

I have always found these little guys difficult to photograph as they don't stay still for long. But they are very pretty when you get it right!

Image taken with Sony A9II and EF200-600 at 600mm. Shutter 1/1000 sec at f/6.3 and ISO 3200. Post production with LrC including some NR with Enhance and sharpened in Lightroom.

Comments and suggestions always warmly welcomed.

Hi Gerald a sweet capture, both colour and clarity looks good. The soft brown backdrop is a nice, neutral colour that doesn't compete with the plumage colour, however that vertical beam of lighter colour is a bit unfortunate. You can address it in both Lr or Ps, your call, but worth doing. I might also suggest that the subject goes a fraction higher in frame if you have the content.

You did.

Hey Gerald ... very nice posing Blue Tit .
Asking curious ... why did you go almost pano ???
The Tit does look great in terms of tones , details and sharpness ... super separated from the BG .
Colors are looking quite nice , but I would personally change the color grading in the subject a touch . AS the whole image is quite " yellow /orange " ... if you change the grading in the subject it willl pop more . This is just a thought from my side ... not a must to do .

Overall super clean image with a sweet subject

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Much appreciated.
Andreas, 16x9 has been my preferred format for along time. Partly because that is the format of my monitor and partly because I really like to have the space for the subject to look or move into.
Here is a rework where I have moved the bird up the stick and tweaked the colour of the stick. Plus lightly pumped the yellow and blue of the bird.

Thanks!
