The subject does appear dark here on my screen with again kind of heavy or dense blacks .

Great pose and color. Like the perch. Agree looks like the bird is just a little dark compared the rest of the image

So sweet! I love the perky pose! My first instinct was that the lower "seed" was too much, but looking at it longer I love it as is . I would, however, clone out the thin brownish oof vertical stem at left edge, to give the image a cleaner finish there. Otherwise two thumbs up!!
