Buzzard_03102010IMG_7685-1-sharpened.jpg

I took this image way back in 2010, I decided to take another look at it using updated processing technique. The image was captured in a field where I knew the buzzard would be often be located in a large tree. I placed a road kill pheasant down as bait and I had already installed my hide.
(Slight recrop for presentation)

Hi Jon ...
well a really cool and lovely shot of the Buzzard . Setting is nice and natural ... but the road kill takes this up a notch , way cooler than my crappy day chicks .
As posted ... I would think why are we gonna shoot with all the latest gimmicks ;) :ROFLMAO:.
Does look very good from all aspects ... the kit worked well at the time , with the latest processing options and knowledge you might have been able to get more from the file. Isn´t that cool ??

Super shot Jon

Jon, I really like this frame. Dominant representation by the hawk in an appealing setting.

Love the bit in the beak and the way its looking left into the open part of the frame.

Nice tones and an overall pleasing arrangement. Well done sir!

Thanks very much everyone, I am glad you liked it, I must admit I was pleased especially when compared to my earlier versions.

This is such a nice image, Jon - glad you are revisiting those old folders.
Great colours and tones overall, well composed, subject stands out beautifully. Great sharpness. I too like the natural setting.
Just awesome, thank you for sharing,

Warmest regards,

Thank you Gabriela I am pleased you like it....................... I think you will have guessed the revised settings(y)
