Hi folks ... playing around with the Buzzard :ROFLMAO: ;)
Told him to land on a higher perch , by providing him a day chick on that stick .
He played tricks with me by picking up the day chicks without landing on the perch , coming from different directions ... no chance for me to see him coming
Very late that day ... her decided to come as I wanted him to come !!!
Sady the light was so poor ....
But hey still great fun to watch and photograph this nice guy .
Still only one is coming down to my set up , albeit three are around .

Canon EOS R5 II

Hi Andreas, this is my favorite from your recent Buzzard shots. Killer! Low the pose with wings and tail flared out. The BG and the overall depth is really good too. Your usual top notch processing. Nicely done!

Fabulous moment to capture. Focus is spot on and the background is superb. The bits does look a slightly bit green on my iPad Pro but I guess that is the late light reflecting off the foliage.

THX Sid and Phill for your kind comments , much appreciated .

@ Phill ... yes the colors are as you see them on your display , albeit I do think not the best idea to view and judge on a thing like an IPAD ... but that is another story .
I was going to edit this warmer and avoiding the green touch ... but thought for the time being to stay close to my color reflection of the scene at the time of capture .
Can be easily changed to another color grading

Cheers Andreas

I actually prefer the close to as seen rendition you have chosen. It tells me more about the scene and location than if it was tweaked too much.

As for the iPad, while it is a smaller screen at 12”, the colour accuracy is very high. Tests show that colour accuracy wise they are a match for some studio reference monitors. They do have plenty of other shortcomings though. I also don’t have access to my desktop at the moment as my CPU cooler died yesterday. The replacement arrives today and hopefully I will have time to install it this evening.

Very pleasing picture Andreas ! The background is equally pleasing. How did you decide on the exposure settings ? I have heard a technique on setting exposure by pointing to the sky as a baseline. I would love to hear what you usually do ? I usually try a gut feeling and then adjust. The disadvantage for this approach is that I might miss the shot/moment.
