Does anyone have experience with the Canon 500mm II and the RRS LCF-53 replacement foot? I'm thinking of getting one to replace the original Canon foot but I'm concerned about balance. Is the RRS foot long enough to properly balance the lens with an R5 alone (with the EF adapter, of course), with the 1.4x III or with the 2x III? I know I can get longer foot to attach to the original foot but I'm trying to save on weight however little it might be.

Thanks in advance.

Muhammad, How could you not ask me? The RRS low feet are poorly designed junk just like their ballheads and tripods. Not to mention way over-priced. That's why I call them Really Wrong Stuff RWS). This is what you should have: the CR-X5 low foot. See it here. There are three different heights available: low, extra-low, and ultra low. And they are totally adjustable for balance. Brian Sump uses one of them for his 600 III. with love, artie
