Chamois in golden late Afternoon

Hi folks ..
image captured in France in the Vosgues . Only one afternoon provided me this lovely warm light in combo with a Chamois sighting , lots of the time I had fog , rain or no Chamois in reach of my kit .
I enjoyed the rare moment a lot .

BEAUTIFUL COLOURS. The angle works a treat and the oof foreground adds nicely. Fascinating that you are posting images of what i imagine are wild French antelope

The Chamois is not a member of the Antelope family , they are closely related to the Goats .
Yes they are wild and widely spread across Europe and its mountains .

Great composition and the bent foreleg enhances the pose. I may have been tempted to lower the brightest highlights a little.

THX Jon ... i was thinking it myself, if the the bright parts are too strong ??!!
Might have gone a touch more gentle in the HL
