First post for me works best as I prefer the colours here and vibrance of the environment.

Nice framing and super pose from this slender, elegant cheetah... love the raised paw and focused stare.

Subject is sharp with good detail, BG looks great.

I notice the raised hairs on its back, was the subject hunting or there was a certain 'situation', or 'encounter' ? There must be more to the story, would love to know :S3:

Just back from a trip to Kruger Park and sadly not many photographic opportunities. Just going through the folders, if I find something interesting I will gladly share.

Im not going to pre empt your trip, but I will fwd something I have been meaning to say for ages and this should cover it, so don't crash into editing!!!

Light was overcast and it did help Gabriela, but a year on and IQ would have been been even better now... She was hunting, but I haven't seen any posts with the hairs up like this.

About the trailer...had to climb in from the bedroom side to reach the door and unlock it:bg3:

Back to cheetahs... you might remember the female that made a kill close to my house, the warthogs were trying to steal the impala lamb from her and she was chasing them away. Well...trying to. I could tell she was scared. That is when I saw that raised back and hairs standing up, just like in your image. Really like the pose you have captured here.

And nope, not crashing into any editing yet, just catching up with stuff. Still waiting for your email:tinysmile_shy_t:

Good on all counts.

You should also have the link which you need to watch the tail end for editing, this should help, but edit only one backup. That means if you delete an image by mistake you can retrieve from the other.

Make sure the monitor is calibrated and you have update all software!

I'll check, thank you. Don't think I'll ever lose an image again. After some 'culling' I will copy everything on the new hard drive and then work of another. I have three backups of every single image I have taken since 2009. The Seagate is great but I find it a bit noisy, oh well:tinysmile_shy_t:

Frame 1 looks great frame 2 not so good from my POV. I don't mind the cheetah colours in 2 but the grasses are not pleasing me at all.

Thanks for the comment, but here, perhaps occasionally you have to explore other options, direction, POV, some you have often said in many of your postings. It’s always worth a punt. :S3:
