Hi all! Just wanted to share a unique wildlife photography fundraiser event happening at a local park near me.
This is what's been posted on their website:
Raptor Day is an annual event for nature photographers, in which several raptor species will be on display in a natural, outdoor setting for photographers to shoot at their own pace. Tickets are on sale now for $25 (students) and $45 (regular) for the hour-and-a-half session with the birds. All proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the ambassador animals, exhibits, and programs at Okeeheelee Nature Center and are tax deductible.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 8:30am to 10:00am at Okeeheelee Nature Center in Okeeheelee Park which is located at 7715 Forest Hill Blvd in West Palm Beach. Here is the link to register https://friendsofokeeheelee.wildapricot.org/event-5752700
