Hi Joe,

I really like your caption and the idea of the roaring cormorant! The pose does what it says on the caption!

The bird is well outlined against the soft blue background.

My only suggestion would be to darken the image a little - add to the midtones.

Hi Joe, this is very well composed and timed. Really like the pose overall.
It could be my uncalibrated monitor, but seems a tad bit thin. Would amp up the blacks a tad.

Yes, deepening the blacks or midtones would give the image added "oomph". I like the pose and colours, and I like the subtle variations in the background.
