Good morning Steve,

Once again perspective just makes the image... you were also fortunate your subjects cooperated!

Well captured and beautifully processed with lovely colours and detail. Good choice in terms of DoF. Reflection adds a lot to this frame.
Composition works well and I quite like the HA of the first impala on the LHS, she is looking straight into your lens.
Surprised to see no oxpeckers - such lovely little birds but they can sometimes be a nuisance to the 'host' as well as the photographer 😅

Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you have an awesome week-end,

Warmest regards,
Gabriela

Good morning Gabriela, sorry, again I didn't get the notification!!!!!

Yep, the location provided a perfect POV, but really hard not to get shots with 'odd heads truncated, ditto legs or other distracting elements', so just shoot.

Be careful for what you wish for :), I have just finished the last mountain of first editing, but still keeping a drive of all shot, just to look through again in a few months time, in case I missed anything, then will wipe both ready for 2025's trips. The Ox P's do show up and because of shooting set up it creates more options where you can have them.

Thanks again and I hope you can get out with the 'Boys' or if Carl has found the Cubs again. 🤞

I get notifications! Did you chat to Allan, he'll fix it 😊

The one time I decided to shoot a bunch of zebra perfectly lined up by the waterhole (things looked oh-so-perfect) an impala dashed in front of them and spoilt everything😁

Cannot wait to see the rest of those images, you must have tons...

Had to work but the day isn't over yet...Scorching hot here so maybe I'll go out in the afternoon or tomorrow early morning. Been working on some cheetah images, this time a female - I have 'girls' too ☺️
