springbok-silhouettes.jpg

I processed this one a while ago but never got round to posting it. Seems like this past while I'm always posting something that won't be everyone's cuppa :).

This is a herd of springbok grazing on a dune in the Kalahari early one morning, taken in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Your honest comments always welcome!

The sunset is nice but the wildlife is too small to be of interest in this image.

As a landscape, I would crop more from the bottom.

Love the colors, but agree with Robert on this one. The springbok are a little to small. TFS

Personally I would move this into landscape. It is a beautiful image and the colours and texture of the sky have been captured well. I would also crop from the bottom as too much black doesn't add that much. Great photo.

Morlel,

I agree with the others who feel that this is really a landscape image as the predominant feature is the sky, which is BTW absolutely gorgeous.

thanks for the feedback everyone. I didn't take any longer-zoom shots as that would exclude the whispy clouds. the mods are welcome to move this to LANDSCAPE if they feel it suits it better.
