Something quite different from my recent morning with the Great White Egret. It stepped out from the reeds to the more open water to hunt the very small fishes. These Egrets are said to symbolize spiritual awakening and enlightenment, teaching lessons about balance, patience, and adaptability.
I really liked the light on the ripples on the water in the foreground and so chose a composition that used that and led to the hunting bird in the top. It works for me, but may not for anyone else!
Image was shot with the Sony A9II, FE200-600 at 506mm. Shutter at 1/1600 sec at f/6.3 and ISO 3200. Processed in LrC, using PhotoAI for NR and a little sharpening on the bird.
